UNIQUE TYPEFACES FOR UNIQUE PROJECTS
Fuerte is an independent type design studio based in Dubai (UAE) and Colonia (UY) founded by Fermín Guerrero. We are committed to developing rigorously crafted typefaces with a strong graphic appeal to help designers create memorable visual experiences. Our projects couple the technical and optical precision of type design with concepts rooted in our graphic design practice.
Fermín Guerrero is a Senior graphic and typeface designer. He graduated with a BA in Visual Communication, from the renowed Geneva University of Art and Design (HEAD) in Switzerland, and later a Masters in Typeface Design from the University of Reading. He has published typefaces with two of the most prestigious type foundries – Colophon (UK) and Typotheque (NL). His work in the field of type design has received a variety of awards such as the European Design Award and Latin American Design Award, and has consistently been highlighted by the most prominent design publications. With years of experience, Fermín felt was the right time to create a platform to show and distribute his work in his own way.
